Tempest the Void

Tempest The Void is the sound of beauty breaking beneath the weight of chaos, a band born from silence, shaped by distortion, and driven by emotion. Merging the atmospheric sweep of post-rock with the crushing weight of metal, we forge music that is as haunting as it heavy, as fragile as it is furious. Tempest the void is a fresh chapter from the former members of Ducto, a band that once carved out its own space in the Mexican rock and metal scene.

After 20 years, Two brothers got together in 2024 with a renew creative vision and desire to explore deeper, more atmospheric sonic territory. That vision became Tempest The Void- a project that channels a wide range of influences such as Russian Circles, Pelican, PG Lost, Deafheaven, God Is And Astronaut and Intronaut. Each track is a journey-through desolation, through reflection

Last Night Out: Lunar Memories

Last Night Out was Michael Cooper's (Void Ranger) first band through high school and college (2009-2015). The band featured a nostalgic mix of genres given the diverse background of the band.

Nicholas Parsons, a deft drummer, maintains the swift pace of the band along Michael who holds command over the low-end of LNO's post-punk melodic textures. Juan Pastor leads on guitar, expertly sprinkling in haunting, ear catching melodies that make you want to hear what's next! Jose Vazquez, a total theatre kid, opera extraordinaire, and multi instrumentalist that glues together the band.

More recently, in 2025, Void Ranger decided to take up the task with his production partner, NAK, to remix and master the band's only 3-song release 10 years prior titling it Lunar Memories. For more, check out their YouTube content.

Notes on Winter Book From Void Ranger:

This album represents the moments in our lives where we need to dig deep and see what lies beneath the work we commit to; to work that is aligned with us. We connect to what drives us, gives us energy, and satisfies the soul. But when we go further inward to understand our inner voice and building the foundation of our legacy, we move different.

Your inner voice will call you, are you ready to answer?
